Big Boi Working With Indie Band Modest Mouse

Sir Luscious Left Foot hits the studio with acclaimed rock group.

Outkast may still be on extended hiatus, but Big Boi has been spending time in the studio with another critically acclaimed group: indie rock band Modest Mouse.
The rapper recently tweeted that he's been working on some tracks for the Washington, D.C., sextet's upcoming album with his engineer, Chris Caramouche.
"Been camped out in the Lab with Modest Mouse all week, workin on the new mouse LP, coolest cats ever. Long Live The Funk," Big Boi tweeted.
Later, the clearly enthused Outkast rapper decided to provide photo evidence of the collab. "Still mousin' it!!!" he exclaimed, sharing a photo of himself in the studio with the band members.
Big Boi isn't the only rapper showing love to Modest Mouse these days. Lupe Fiasco's recent hit single "The Show Goes On" uses a sample from the song "Float On," the band's breakout smash from 2004.
