Adele Still No. 1 on Charts

The U.K. songstress maintains hold on Billboard's top spot.

British singing sensation Adele continues her chart domination this week, remaining at the top spot on Billboard’s Top 200 charts with an impressive 114,000 in sales. The impressive accomplishment comes more than a month after her sophomore album, 21, debuted. This week’s sales total puts the LP well above the second place album, the Foo Fighters' Wasting Light, which sold 34,000 copies.
R&B star Chris Brown and rapper Wiz Khalifa, both continue to perform well and have landed in the top 10 with their respective albums, F.A.M.E. and Rolling Papers. Brown climbed three spots to No. 6 with 38,000 units sold last week and 513,000 to date. And Khalifa re-enters the top 10 for the first time in two weeks at No. 9 with 24,000 copies sold. Khalifa's debut album has so far sold 352,000 copies and is on track to go gold.
