Ne-Yo Performs Concert for Coca-Cola Employees

The R&B singer joined a list of talent that celebrated the soft drink maker's 125th anniversary.

This past Saturday, Ne-Yo was part of an all-star lineup of artists who performed at a special concert for Coca-Cola employees. The show was a free performance for staff to help celebrate the soft drink maker's 125th anniversary.

Hosted by American Idol''s Ryan Seacrest, the concert was held at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta and streamed live on the company's website cocacola.com. Ne-Yo was the only R&B artist to perform, although he was among some other high-profile performers including Natasha Bedingfield and Kelly Clarkson.

During his performance, Ne-Yo talked about his appreciation for Coca-Cola. "I was born in Arkansas, but I was raised in Vegas. And anyone can tell you that Vegas is one of the hottest places on the planet.... So, shout out to Coke for making sure that I didn’t pass the hell out a few different times living in Vegas...I’m a personal friend of Coca-Cola, so they asked me to come down. So, I’m here."
