Jermaine Dupri Joins Cast of “Platinum Hit”
The hitmaking producer signs up to judge songwriting competition.
Not to be left out of the reality singing competition craze, superproducer Jermaine Dupri will be joining the judge’s panel on Bravo TV's new series Platinum Hit. Dupri will guest as a member of the show's rotating cast of judges, which also includes Leona Lewis, Taio Cruz, Natasha Bedingfield and Donna Summer, among others.
Unlike other music competitions, Platinum Hit is focused on finding the next great songwriter, pitting would-be scribes against each other in a string of writing challenges. The songwriter who ends up on top will receive a publishing deal from Sony/ATV and a recording contract with RCA/Jive.
Platinum Hit airs Mondays on Bravo at 10 p.m. Eastern.
