Tracks from 4 made public three weeks before its release.
With three weeks still to go before its scheduled June 28 release, Beyonce's 4 was leaked online. First "Party," a Kanye West and Consequence-produced track featuring Andre 3000, made its way to the public's ears Tuesday morning. That was later followed by "Countdown," which samples from Boyz II Men, and soon enough the entire album was available online.
Though her legal team is cracking down on offending sites and music blogs and sending out cease and desist notices, people are sharing links to tracks via Twitter, which is harder to control.
Since releasing the album's first single, "Run the World (Girls)," Beyonce debuted "1+1" on the "American Idol" finale and released a second single "Best Thing I Never Had." Looks like everyone else has what they wanted now.
