Nivea Hamilton Nash got into some big trouble this weekend. According to TMZ, the 29-year-old mother of four was arrested after wrapping her 2006 Mercedes around a tree in Atlanta while in the care of a small baby, who was in the backseat at the time of the accident. 

Although the child was unharmed, Nivea, the ex-wife of singer-songwriter The-Dream and mother to one of Lil Wayne's children, was taken to Fulton County jail. Nivea was reportedly belligerent at the point of arrest—she reportedly told an officer, "B----, I could buy your job, h--!" 

Although she told officers that she only had three drinks much earlier in the evening, reports say she had "bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol." 

The singer was returning home from the wedding reception of fellow Lil Wayne baby mama Toya Carter and BET host MempHitz. 

Family members and close friends maintain that she was neither drinking nor speeding at the time of the accident.
Nivea herself took to Twitter to tell her side of the story. "Thank You 2 all that were concerned, I'm doing fine! I NEVER said what ppl are saying to/about the cop by the way," she tweeted.

"And one more thing I WAS NOT DRINKING AND DRIVING, the accident was Not due to me being intoxicated. Just wanted to clear that."
