Miami DJ notes how Joey Crack's new trim figure came with an energy boost.
Music mastermind DJ Khaled told MTV's Mixtape Daily that all the weight Fat Joe has lost has inspired the rapper.
"Joe lost so much weight that I can't believe it," Khaled said. "I was just on the phone with him and he was like, 'Khaled I wear a 1X. I walk into Bal Harbour, go to Gucci and whatever.'"
In addition to gloating about shopping in posh Miami neighborhoods, Khaled says Joe, who has dropped more than 80 pounds, also has so much more energy to work and record. "He said he feels the best he ever felt and he's back in the studio working," Khaled said. "I think by him losing all this weight, it just inspired him, just more inspiration for him to make more hit records."
As previously reported, Fat Joe surprised fans with his weight loss with the release of a video for one of his recent singles, "Drop a Body" last month.
