Lady Gaga is being called a song stealer. A new lawsuit accuses the Grammy award winning singer of jacking the controversial single "Judas, which appears on her latest album Born This Way.

According to TMZ, a singer named Rebecca Francescatti is accusing Gaga off copying her 1999 song "Juda." Francescatti claims that the song was likely passed on to Gaga through Brian Gayner her former bass player who now works for a company that wrote the majority of the songs on Born This Way.

"Though the songs are different styles, the composition is the same and the chorus is the same melody," said Chirs Niro, Rebecca's lawyer. "[Rebecca] is seeking recognition for what she created."

Lady Gaga has yet to make a comment about the suit.
