Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green among the performers set to pay homage to the King of Pop.
After several delays, the concert tribute to Michael Jackson organized by the late pop icon's mother Katherine Jackson has announced its lineup of all-star performers.
Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis, Alien Ant Farm and Craig David are among the performers confirmed to be paying tribute to the King of Pop at the concert on October 8 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The one-time event will be broadcast live to 30 countries.
The tribute has caused internal strife in the Jackson family, with siblings LaToya, Tito, Marlon and Jackie Jackson supporting their mother Katherine's efforts and Jermaine and Randy Jackson contending that the family should be focused on the upcoming manslaughter trial of MJ's doctor Conrad Murray. The trial will begin on September 26 in Los Angeles and Murray is fighting charges of involuntary homicide.
