Rockie Fresh

BET’s Music Matters is in the business of spotlighting the freshest talent music has to offer. It only makes sense then, that upstart Chicago MC Rockie Fresh be a part of the program’s latest talent showcase.

Tonight (August 16), the 19 year old wordsmith is one of the headlining acts at this month’s Music Matters concert series in New York City. Fresh will be performing cuts like “Living,” “A.C. Green,” and “Sofa King Cole,” all from his critically-acclaimed mixtape, The Otherside.

Set to join Rockie Fresh on stage is R&B crooner Aaron Camper, singer Todrick Hall, and Brooklyn-bred rhyme slinger Skyzoo. While Skyzoo is already a vet of the Music Matters stage, Camper and Hall are newcomers who will definitely make a memorable first impression on music lovers.

Come out to catch all the up and coming stars tonight at NYC club Drom, located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts promptly at 7:30pm.
