You probably missed as you sat transfixed by Chris Brown’s high-flying performance at the Video Music Awards on Sunday, but one audience member got quite a surprise during the show, according to TheBoomBox. After he started performing, Brown realized that he was still wearing his watch, a $22,000 diamond encrusted Rolex. Afraid he’d lose it during his wirework, he tried to toss it safely offstage, but instead it went into the crowd. His bodyguard immediately went to look for it, and ran into an honest fan, who handed it over. “Chris did not get to meet the fan, he is very appreciative of the fan’s actions,” a representative for Chris Brown said. Too bad Chris didn’t get to say thank you in person, but we salute the most honest fan ever.
