Weezy is set to appear on the remix to the former teen idol's "Just in Love."
Can't say we saw this one coming. Lil Wayne will appear on a remix of Joe Jonas' single "Just in Love."
The Jonas bro broke the news via Twitter, announcing that the remix would drop on Monday on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "BIG NEWS! #JustInLove Remix with Me and @LilTunechi (LIL WAYNE) coming to you on 10/3 on @OnAirWithRyan. Can't wait for you to hear it!" he wrote.
Seacrest playfully tweeted back, "U have ur leopard jeggings yet?" (Wayne, you gonna let Seacreezy play you like that?)
The remix is designed to ramp up the buzz for Jonas' solo debut, Fast Life, set to drop October 11. "He just jumped on the record, and it's just super-awesome to see that somebody like him would wanna support me," the former teen idol told Billboard about his collabo with Weezy. "It means the world to me, and I love his rap; it's so dope. Somebody like Lil Wayne, who owns the market and who is a power-maker in his genre, supporting me is really exciting."
We'll have to hold tight till Monday to hear the song, but Billboard says it includes the Wayne line "We makin' love like animals/Planet of the Apes." Stay classy, Weezy.
