Ja's been in jail since this summer and it seems his creative juices have been flowing. His album, Pain is Love 2, is set to release on October 11 but he's got a few songs to drop before that. "Pre-PIL2 EP" was supposed to come out on October 1, but no word as to when the EP will really be released.

"Spun A Web" is the second 7 Aurelius produced track to come out, the first being "Falling 2 Pieces," and so far they're both some of Ja's best work in years. The eery sample and haunting lyrics are a far cry from his "Put It On Me" days. Are you feeling Ja's new deeper sound?

Ja Rule was served with two concurrent sentences, one for gun possession and another for tax evasion. His sentence was two years but with luck and good behavior he could be out earlier than that.
