Snoop Dogg hasn’t always approved of Soulja Boy (he once called him a “bubble gum rapper”), but in recent years he changed his opinion, apologizing for “hating on him.” He even featured the young rapper on his song, “Pronto,” in 2009. Now he has taken his support a step further with an appearance in Soulja Boy The Movie. Helmed by Academy Award-nominated director Peter Spirer (Notorious B.I.G.: Bigger than Life and Tupac Shakur: Thug Angel), the DVD documentary of the enterprising rapper’s rise is slated for an October 18th release.
