Stevie Wonder got the D.C. crowd jumping all weekend long — today, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Dedication, and last night, for a visibly moved Bill Clinton, when Wonder performed at the former president’s Decade of Difference Concert.

Taking the stage behind a piano at the Hollywood Bowl, Wonder, 61, surprised Clinton with his horn and saxophone-laden “Sir Duke,” saying, “Only for you do I do this.” The camera then pans to a teary Clinton wiping at his eyes.

Wonder then jumps into "For Once in My Life,” a song specifically requested by the 42nd president. This time, instead of crying, Clinton is seen singing along. After several more tracks, the icon wraps with the soul-stirring “Superstitious.”
