The show will honor cities that have contributed to soul music.
VH1 has added a few more acts to this year's annual VH1 Divas show. Anita Baker, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson, and Ledisi are among those who will join the roster of performers.
This year, the show will honor the cities that have had a big impact on soul music including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis, and Philadelphia. Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Chaka Khan, and Erykah Badu are a few of the entertainers that will take the stage while Queen Latifah, Nas, Common, and La La Anthony will participate as presenters.
VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul will air Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
