Nas and others to honor Amy Winehouse during "VH1 Divas Celebrate Soul." The rapper will introduce a tribute medley for the fallen singer.

Nas is set to pay homage to the late Amy Winehouse during the annual VH1 Divas event. The rapper, who is featured in Winehouse's "Like Smoke," will introduce a tribute medley during Monday night's VH1 Divas Celebrate Soul. Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine and Wanda Jackson will also perform during Winehouse's tribute segment.


This year's VH1 Divas event will celebrate the cities that helped influence soul music, such as London, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia and Memphis. Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Erykah Badu, Estelle, Anita Baker and Boyz II Men are a few of the featured performers for the event, with The Roots serving as the backing band. Queen Latifah, Common, Nas, Terrence Howard and La La Anthony will serve as presenters.


VH1 Divas Celebrate Soul will air Monday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
