This is sure to tilt some heads, but a Florida education company has announced that rappers Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne are to receive their first annual "Teacher of the Year" awards. The South Florida-based Better Education Place named the two as the Best Male and Best Female Teacher after judging them on several categories and deeming them more influential than the teachers who actually commit themselves to children's education.

"Apparently students are drawn in by the ‘swagger,’" says Melvin El, president of Better Education Place. "If you are a teacher today and you don’t have any swagger, you are going to struggle to get your students' attention. It turns out a teacher can learn a lot from Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj."

Because the company encourages using hip hop to make education fun, they've deemed rappers worthy of receiving the awards.

Do you think Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne deserve the title, "Teacher of the Year?"
