Cissy Houston "Devastated" by Whitney’s Autopsy Report

The latest details of Whitney Houston’s death have made Cissy Houston very sad.

The recent news that cocaine was reportedly found in Whitney Houston’s hotel room when she died has been particularly hard on the late singer's mother. TMZ cites close friends of Cissy Houston who say she is "devastated" and "inconsolable" after learning that her daughter succumbed to her addiction.
Previously undisclosed portions of the L.A. County coroner's report leaked on Wednesday [April 4] stating that cocaine paraphernalia, including a spoon with “white powder” residue and a rolled up piece of paper, was found in the hotel room where Whitney died. Cocaine had also been found in her system and a perforated posterior nasal septum indicated chronic cocaine use.
Though Houston's mother is saddened by the news, she is said to be urging those who knew her daughter or were fans of her music to remember her for her great qualities, rather than focus on her faults.
"No one's perfect," she said. "Only the Lord can judge."

The elder Houston, a gospel music legend in her own right, recently broke her silence on the topic of her daughter’s death in an interview with journalist Brenda Blackmon. In the sit down, Houston debunked rumors of Whitney’s financial troubles and blasted the folks attempting to tarnish her daughter’s legacy.

"People have come from here and there [and] don't know what they're talking about. People I haven't seen in 20 years.... Here they come, [they] think they know everything, but that's not true. But God has his way of taking care of all of it, and I'm glad I know that. They really chopped on her, chopped on her…kept, kept, kept."
