After fan site posts leaked music.
Don't go, Nicki!
Hip hop queen Nicki Minaj has disappointed 11,164,600 followers by deleting her Twitter account. The "Starships" singer made the decision to go dark after a fan site, NickiDaily.com, evidently posted some leaked music from her upcoming album.
The site shut down and closed their Twitter feed after being blocked by Minaj (they cheekily posted in big letters "CLOSED" on their URL along with the song "Dear Old Nicki") and Minaj followed suit hours later by ending her own Twitter reign.
The pop icon went out in characteristically dramatic fashion with one final tweet:
"Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f------- bye."
Thankfully, the kind folks at Twitter give users 30 days to change their minds, so fingers crossed that Nicki will be back soon.
