President Obama Shouts Out Young Jeezy at Correspondents' Dinner

President Barack Obama plugs Young Jeezy during star-studded event at the White House.

President Barack Obama has already established his hip hop credentials with past references to Jay-Z and Lil Wayne; but at this weekend's White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the commander-in-chief got a little more street. In his speech at the event, President Obama name-checked Young Jeezy, joking about the direction he would take if given a second term in office.
“In my first term I sang Al Green. In my second term I’m going with Young Jeezy," Obama said to a laughing crowd, including the first lady seated next to him. "Michelle said, 'Yeeah!'" he ad libed. "I sing that to her sometimes."
Apparently flattered by the display of love from the first family, Jizzle took to Twitter to return the favor.
"Shout out to @BarackObama," he wrote. "You know they love the snowman in the white house. #turntup."

Though Jeezy was not present when he got the mention, there were also a number of notable stars in attendance at the annual event. Kim Kardashian (sans Kanye West), along with power couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were among the celebrities at the dinner.
