The music superstar pens handwritten note to her mom on Mother's Day.
To show love to her mom on Mother's Day, Beyoncé posted an open letter to Tina Knowles on her website, letting the world know how much her mother means to her. In the letter, Bey thanks Mama Knowles for inspiring her career and says she has a new appreciation for her after becoming a mom herself.
"Everything I am is because of you! You are the first voice that ever sang to me," she writes. "At every turn you push me to be better."
Later in the letter, Bey talks about how her perspective has changed now that she's a mom in her own right.
"When I look into your eyes, I am sooo proud," she says. "Now that I'm a mother, I truly realize all the sacrifices you made for us."
