Rihanna Addresses Reports About Canceled UK Appearance

Rihanna says she’s not sick from too much partying; rather she took time off for family.

After she abruptly canceled a planned trip to the UK this week, speculation ignited in the British press that Rihanna is burning herself out partying. That storyline didn't sit too well with the 24-year-old international pop star, and now she's fired back with some colorful language for the newspaper that started it.
This morning, The Sun reported that Rih Rih pulled out of a scheduled appearance on the show Sky Living at the last minute because of a supposed "sickness." They cited an anonymous source who said the "Birthday Cake" singer has been "hitting it hard for months" smoking and drinking and partying hard.
Responding to the article on Twitter, however, Rihanna said she wasn't sick at all and had decided to delay the UK trip in order to be with family.
"Nonsense! I'm not sick!" she wrote. "I pushed my trip to London back to go spend time with my family! Sorry kiddos."
Then she had some choice words for The Sun.
"The Sun Newspaper is like a f----n ass hair, full of sh-!!!!!!" Rihanna tweeted.
Rihanna had been planning to ship off to London for an extended 10-week stay. It's not yet clear when her new departure date will be, but she's scheduled to perform at two festivals in the UK in the coming weeks — Radio 1's Hackney Weekend and the Wireless festival.
