Chris Brown was interviewed by police after Wednesday night's club brawl in New York, but the R&B star refused to name any names, the New York Daily News reports.
The NYPD spoke to Brown on Thursday [June 14] following the melee between his and Drake's entourages at the SoHo hotspot W.I.P., but he told investigators that he hadn't even seen Drake at the club.
According to reports, Brown and Drake were sitting at nearby tables in the VIP section. Fighting broke out after Drake rejected a peace offering from Brown — a $2,000 bottle of champagne — and instead sent back a crude message about Breezy's ex-girlfriend.
"I'm still f--king Rihanna," it reportedly read.
Bottles and ice were thrown between tables, and when Brown tried to leave he was confronted by several men from Drake's entourage who took off their shirts. The 23-year-old singer was hit in the chin with a bottle and his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran was later treated for a concussion.
Five people not connected to either entourage were injured by flying bottles in the club. No one has yet been charged with a crime. Police are said to be looking for Drake to interview him.
