2 Chainz Goes Gold With "No Lie." It's turning out to be a great year for the ATL emcee.
2 Chainz is coming into his own with the pending release of his highly anticipated solo album Based on a T.R.U. Story, so it's fitting that the ATL rapper has just earned his first gold plaque as a lead artist. "No Lie," 2 Chainz hit single featuring Drake, was recently named Gold by the RIAA.
"Yo @Drake jus got word #NOLIE jus went GOLD today, thank god, thank you, and thank all yalll..." he wrote on Twitter announcing the news.
Based on a T.R.U. Story is in stores August 14. A second single "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West, debuted earlier this week. And catch 2 Chainz on his first solo tour next month.
