The R&B celeb has a change of heart about Ocean's coming out.
Chris Brown and Frank Ocean are not the best of friends. In 2011, Ocean got into a Twitter beef over a misunderstood compliment from Brown and lashed out at Breezy by calling him a “young Ike Turner,” referring to the 2009 beating of his pop star ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The Fortune singer must’ve still been holding a grudge when he reportedly answered a question about the Channel Orange artist’s coming out, saying, “Man, no homo.” However, the popular performer has changed his tone, tweeting nothing but respect for Ocean’s love life this morning.
“My Opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is……… Love who u wanna love. It’s ur decision. People stop searching for BS,” Chris tweeted.
He continued, saying that the world is “so bent on social acceptance that we’ve forgotten what makes us special, our individuality.”
While it looks like the R&B star is showing some maturity, this is not the first time he’s gotten into a tiff with another artist. Noting his most recent club fight with rapper-singer Drake, Brown still holds a reputation as a loose cannon.
The Odd Future newcomer has yet to respond to Chris’ morning tweet.
