A suspected burglar with the intentions of pulling off a robbery in a posh Los Angeles home, experienced the most unfortunate encounter of his life when he realized LL Cool J was in the house. Ba dum chhh! For his troubles the unlucky thief received several bumps and bruises after a face-off with the bulky rapper-actor, who famously released the 1990 album Mama Said Knock You Out.

According to TMZ, the intruder entered LL's home at around 2 a.m. this morning, tripping the alarm system and sending the NCIS Los Angeles actor into action. LL found the robber downstairs and put them paws on him. Safe to say this one-on-one confrontation with the fitness fanatic did not end well for the suspect, who reportedly was left with a broken nose and jaw. The Grammy Award-winning star was able to detain the thief until police arrived on the scene to make the arrest.

A rep for LL confirmed to TMZ that he is doing well after the confrontation and is in contact with local authorities.

"He is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities," the rep added.

Guess this intruder had to learn a tough lesson most already know, LL Cool J is hard as hell.

UPDATE:

LL Cool J will not press charges on the intruder, who is being described as mentally ill transient.
