Fugees star says he's no longer angry at ex-bandmate for misleading paternity claim.
Wyclef Jean dropped a bombshell in his recently released autobiography Purpose, alleging that Lauryn Hill led him to believe that her first son, Zion, was his for the duration of her pregnancy. But despite the shocking revelation, Jean says he doesn't hold a grudge against Lauryn.
"No, no, no, not at all," Clef said when asked by TMZ if he was still angry at Hill. "With the Lauryn part, that's one small chapter in the book and clearly I'm going back and saying that's how I felt then."
Wyclef said that he found catharsis in writing the book and that it was important for him to be open even when it came to personal details.
"My first biography, it has to be raw and honest so that when you read it, it feels real like me," he said. "For a period, it was something that I held in and I'm just glad I got it out."
