Rumors of a follow-up to the recent G.O.O.D. Music compilation album are still just that, but in a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Pusha-T revealed that there are conversations being had about the project — they're just taking place above his pay grade.

"I don't know personally about Cruel Winter, that's a Q-Tip and Kanye thing," Pusha said of the potential Cruel Summer sequel. "Q-Tip and Kanye, they have conversations that I'm not privy to. I come in and I rap. I do my verses and be out. They have the collective sit down and meeting of the minds and s--t like that."

It was Q-Tip who first planted the idea of a Cruel Winter album, teasing the project when it was pointed out that he did not appear on Cruel Summer during a red carpet interview at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

"If there's a Cruel Summer, there's gotta be a Cruel Winter, right?" he said.

Several members of G.O.O.D. Music have confirmed that they recorded numerous songs that did not end up on Cruel Summer, although there has been no public comment from Kanye West himself regarding a follow-up.

"If 'Ye decides to do something like that, then I'm sure he has material," Pusha said in the Semtex interview. "And if he needs more, he knows one phone that he can call."
