Pitbull is set to join a stellar lineup of performers at the 40th Annual American Music Awards. According to Billboard, the Miami rhyme spitter is just one of the latest artists to be added to the roster of performers, along with Pink and Carrie Underwood. Early last week, Nicki Minaj was the first hip hop act announced for the lineup.

In addition to performing, Pitbull is also nominated in two award categories: Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist – Latin. The "Give Me Everything" rapper has created numerous club bangers and is known for his high-energy performances, so AMA viewers should expect a musical party.

His fellow hip hop act, Minaj, is leading the ceremony with four nominations, a feat tied only by her peer Rihanna. Drake is also up for a nomination, along with J. Cole, Usher and Chris Brown.
