After staying relatively quiet in 2012, J. Cole has announced his sophomore album for release in early 2013. The Roc Nation star will return with the new LP Born Sinner on January 28.

Cole teased the project with a promo video shared during a UStream session with fans. In the clip, a young boy in a majestic cathedral holds up cue cards which read, "Aren't we all sinners? Aren't we all saints?" and announce the album title and release date.

Cole's debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, was released in October of 2011 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. In September he leaked the song "I'm a Fool" from an unnamed project.

The 28th of January is a date of particular significance for the North Carolina rapper — it will mark his 28th birthday.
