Mr. West recruits the young rapper featured on Cruel Summer to his label.
Travi$ Scott, a 19-year-old rapper and producer from Houston, was introduced to a whole new audience when he appeared on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music clique record, Cruel Summer. In a recent interview with It's The Real, Scott confirms what previously had only been speculation— he's officially the newest member of label.
Asked to fill in the blank of the leading statement "I'm Travi$ Scott, and I'm signed to 'blank' Music, whether I admit or not," Scott laughed before responding "G.O.O.D. Music."
Scott appears on the song "Sin City", where he spits the first verse and earned a producer credit. He also produced two other songs from the Cruel LP, "To The World" and "The Morning."
With his rhyming and production skills, Yeezy may see a little of himself in the young Scott.
