Jay-Z, Kanye West Lead 2013 Grammy Nominations

The hip hop stars tie Frank Ocean for most nods with six each.

The 2013 Grammy nominations were announced last night [December 5] and it was a good night for hip hop and R&B. Rap kings Jay-Z and Kanye West shared the Grammy spotlight with a familiar collaborator, Frank Ocean, as all three music stars took home six Grammy nods each. Rock band Mumford & Sons joined them to make it a four-way tie. Coming up with five nominations of his own was Miguel, who's smash single "Adorn" is up for Song of the Year.

While Jay-Z and Kanye West will do battle for hip hop supremacy against acts like Nas and Drake, Frank Ocean will pit his genre-bending talents against alternative acts like the Black Keys and Jack White when his debut album, Channel Orange, contends for Album of the Year.
