VH1's Love and Hip Hop returns for its third season next year, and the popular New York City based reality series has drawn some new blood. Joining the cast for the new season are Slaughterhouse rapper Joe Budden and former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence, the network has announced.

Budden's ex-girlfriend, video vixen Tahiry Jose, and radio personality Raqi Thunda will also appear in the new installment of the series along with others. Previous Love and Hip Hop stars have included Jim Jones, Teairra Mari and Swizz Beatz's ex and baby mother, Mashonda Tifrere.

Look for Budden and Tahiry to bring much of the drama this season. Hip hop fans familiar with the former couple know their turbulent history that played out on the Internet over the course of their very public relationship. Though Cons and baby mother Jen the Pen (radio personality) are among the new cast members, there will be some familiar faces and storylines back for the new season. R&B singer Olivia is still trying to get her love life and career on track, while manager to the stars Yandy Smith is learning how to manage motherhood and her many clients.

The new season of Love & Hip Hop premieres in January.
