Slim Shady makes first appearance at music festival since 2001.
Eminem will headline one of the UK's biggest music weekends next August. The international rap superstar has been announced at the top of the bill for the twin Reading and Leeds Music festivals in 2013. The fetes, spread across the English towns from which they take their name, will be held Aug. 23-25.
Em hasn't played Reading Leeds since 2001, shortly after the release of his breakthrough smash The Marshall Mathers LP. No other big name acts for next year's fest have been announced yet, although The Hollywood Reporter says Black Sabbath, Blur and Arctic Monkeys are on the rumored list.
Last year, Eminem crossed the pond to headline the V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex.
