Meek Mill Clowns Cassidy’s "Condom Style" Song
Meek Mill has found some new ammunition in his ongoing battle with Cassidy. Responding to Cass' new song, "Condom Style," the MMG rapper recently took to Instagram to label it "the worst song in the history of rapping."
The track is a remake of "Gagnam Style," the international mega-hit by the Korean rapper Psy. Riding on that song's wave of popularity, Cassidy tweaks the lyrics in his own version, turning it into a pro safe-sex anthem.
"I don't care if she say 'I'm not infected' / cuz I don't wanna hear her say that 'You got me pregnant,'" Cassidy rhymes.
Though the track is infused with humor, Mill, who has been trading jabs with his fellow Philadelphia native for weeks, said the joke was on Cassidy.
"Go 2 rapradar.com this is the worst song in the history of rapping....this gotta b a joke! Google #condomstyle," he wrote.
In response to Meek's criticism, Cassidy took to Twitter where he eluded to the big-picture effect of the song.
"If "Condom Style" made at least 1 man strap up, & potentially saved at lease [sic] 1 person from getting a STD.. The song served its purpose!!!"
The two artists have been exchanging words ever since Mill declined a rap battle, saying that Cassidy wasn't in his league.
