Lyor Cohen is reportedly planning to launch the next powerhouse artist management company and he's bringing Irv Gotti along with him. The former president of Warner Music Group and the founder of Murder Inc. Records will join forces to start a new company, the New York Post reports.

Cohen left his job as top dog at WMG in September and has been relatively secretive about his next move. Details about his new company, including what it might be called and what specific services it will offer, are not yet known.

Cohen has reportedly had conversations with Kanye West about joining the nascent firm, while Gotti is said to have made recent efforts to connect with Drake.

Gotti has been looking for an industry post since being acquitted of drug running and money laundering in 2005. He lost a bid to become president of Def Jam Records earlier this year.
