Members of the hip hop community have responded to last week's elementary school shooting in Connecticut last week in different ways. Some, like Mike Posner, have written songs in honor of the 26 lives that were taken that day. Others, like T.I., have weighed in on the debate about gun control and the changing face of violence in America. And then there's Gunplay.

The MMG rapper, currently under house arrest for armed robbery, took to Twitter yesterday to share his view that a government conspiracy is to blame for the massacre of 20 first graders and six teachers.

"Government killed dem kids to take our guns away. Another 9/11. Dont get it twisted," he wrote. "Yall are sheeple 4 thinking da government aint gotta hand in every crisis since the great depression."

Though he quickly deleted evidence of his disturbing theory, Gunplay left one defiant tweet for posterity.

"Yall got to be da most ignant naive MF's on earth yall gon see! Trust Obama he knows best. Lol," he wrote.
