Give the people what they want, huh?

In an effort to elevate the conversation on a future G-Unit reunion, Game has launched an online petition to garner fan support for the crew’s reunification.

Despite the infamous “G-Unot” campaign and all the mud-slinging/diss songs that have taken place, Game is being proactive with his attempts at getting his old crew back together. The Compton MC invited fans to weigh in on the matter (the petition has already garnered nearly 10,000 signatures), reminding them of the crew's impact.

"They [G-Unit] delivered some of the best hip hop songs the world has ever heard…It's about time we gave the world what they want, a 'Reunion,' there is no doubt that if the group reformed they would smash their way to the top again."

News of a possible reunion first surfaced when Game told BET.com that he’d be open to the possibility of getting back in the recording booth with his old crew.

Game’s manager also confirmed with the Wall Street Journal earlier this month that he’d been in behind-the-scenes negotiations with Fif’s camp in hopes of bringing everyone on one accord.

Unfortunately fans may have to wait a bit longer for things to turn around as 50 Cent is sticking to his guns. The hip hop mogul told the Boombox he views the petition as a desperate plea from Game to draw attention to himself.

"Every time there was nothing going on [Game] said 'F--- you, 50,' to generate some sort of new interest," he said. "But now that doesn't work anymore. So you gotta figure out a new way to do it. And now it's saying, 'We'll get G-Unit back together!'"
