When the TV cameras zoom in on your favorite athlete entering the arena before a game, 9 times out of 10 they’re bumping their pre-game playlist through a pair Beats By Dre headphones. And with NBA superstar LeBron James being one of the most recognized names in sports who just so happens to endorse the Dr. Dre brand, it's only natural that the duo would grace the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s “Music Issue.”

Inside the March issue, the Miami Heat All-Star and legendary hip hop superproducer discuss their partnership. They tell the tale of how they plan on making Beats By Dre the headphone brand of choice for the sports world. Lebron and Dre even share their very own personal workout playlists. Some of their favorite tracks include music from Kanye West, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, Method Man, J Dilla and more.

“The Music Issue,” which also features Macklemore, Jimmy Iovine and Olympic Gold medalist Ryan Lochte, is scheduled to hit newsstands in the next few weeks.
