JT continues to rev up the anticipation for his third solo album.
Justin Timberlake is making the vision for his third solo LP a little clearer day by day. The pop star released the cover art and track list for the highly anticipated 20/20 Experience album. Following the release of the lead single, "Suit & Tie," featuring Jay-Z, and a Super Bowl weekend performance in New Orleans, this latest reveal only ramps up the buzz for Timberlake's first album in seven years.
Fashion designer Tom Ford is the creative mastermind responsible for the cover artwork that finds Timberlake standing behind a phoropter. Ford, who Jay-Z name-drops in "Suit & Tie," is actually playing a prominent role throughout The 20/20 Experience. JT is wearing the style maven’s signature black bow tie on the cover as well as in the video for the first single.
As for the album’s track list, it features 10 new original songs from the pop star, all scored by the project’s executive producer, Timbaland. While it’s safe to assume that Jay-Z’s verse will make the final cut, Timberlake opted to omit the album’s guest list for now. Guess we'll just have to wait until the project arrives on March 19 to see who’s invited to the crooner’s black-tie affair. Smooth move.
