Kendrick Lamar to Headline Duke's LDOC Concert
Still riding high on the success of his debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, Kendrick Lamar is slated to headline Duke University's LDOC (Last Day of Class) concert this April.
"We were really lucky with timing this year, and it’s cool to be able to contribute to a larger LDOC legacy of bringing artists here right before they get very famous," co-chair Izzy Dover said.
Kendrick Lamar will be in good company with hip hop trio Travis Porter and house musician Steve Aoki confirmed to take the LDOC stage. Dover's partner in crime, senior Duke student and LDOC co-chair Bo Triplett said that the concert is to bring unity amongst all of the different social groups on Duke's campus for one last day before the school year is over.
Right after LDOC, Kendrick Lamar will be gearing up for the BET Experience that will also feature headliner Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, Erykah Badu and many more. Go here for more details and info on how to buy tickets.
