To re-cap their young love, Ora and Kardashian reportedly dated quietly for a few months before the reality star revealed they were an item via social media during the summer of 2012. Ora, however, continued to insist in interviews that she was single and the two were good friends rather than an item. Shortly after their purported split, Kardashian took to his Twitter account to vent and bash Rita, cheated on him with "20 men."
According to reports Ora recently spoke with an Australian magazine about Kardashian’s salacious accusations against her and makes the case that he was never her boyfriend.
"I never thought it was actually a relationship, in all honesty. I never mentally defined it as ‘boyfriend, girlfriend.’ When I split up with him, I said, ‘It’s because I’m never there, I don’t know how to do it.’ That’s all I said, then … the rest happened. He obviously felt that creating myths was the way forward."
Ora suggests that Kardashian may have been a little premature in announcing their coupledom on Twitter.
"When you are involved with someone for a while and they decide to express their feelings to the public, well, that’s not my personal way of therapy but I guess everyone takes split-ups differently," she explained. "You should have to sit for an exam before you go on Twitter. To see if you’re mentally stable."
Kardashian hasn’t responded to Ora’s rebuttal on Twitter or any form of social networking, yet. Ora says she remains single, but is definitely looking.
"It's a terrible feeling; being lonely ... I'm still a girl. I'd love a boyfriend. But it's hard when they're not in the industry. I wouldn't care what he did as long as he made me laugh. I love laughing."
