Wednesday night, at the Emerson Theatre nightclub in Hollywood, Brown jumped onstage from his table under the DJ booth after requesting some mic time, according to E!. DJ Kayper started to play Drake’s newest Top 10 hit, "Started From the Bottom," but Brown told her to cut the music. He then turned to the crowd and yelled, "The DJ can play this s--t, but I want you all to know, f--k Drake!" and flashed the middle finger.
DJ Kayper later explained on Twitter why she decided to play a track from Breezy's rival.
"So Chrs Brown came to the club last night after calling me a 'woman DJ' he told me to drop a track, so I played Drake, lol!" Kayper tweeted.
Brown, dressed in a Miami Hurricanes baseball jersey, then began freestyling, eventually launching into a full performance of his "As You Were." He followed with "Turn Up the Music," "Beautiful People" and an additional five songs for the shocked crowd. Football star Reggie Bush joined Brown onstage at one point, grabbing the mic and becoming the world’s most famous hype man.
Before arriving at the Emerson and starting his impromptu concert, Brown had attended a charity benefit at a Studio City, CA, bowling alley, where he got into an inicident with a valet. It was a different story at the Emerson, where Brown was seen chugging Ace of Spades Rose and vodka all night. At one point, he ordered six bottles of rosé, at a price tag of $10,000, which servers brought out in a gold sailboat. Brown sent it over to football legend Michael Irvin, who was at the Emerson celebrating his birthday.
Brown left the stage around 2 a.m., leaving the club with an orange hoodie pulled up over his head and entourage trailing him while "Harlem Shake" played.
