The rapper-turned-reggae star offers fans a deeper look at his musical transformation.
He has a new album about to drop, a documentary in theaters nationwide and now Snoop Lion takes you even deeper into his spiritual and musical transformation with Reincarnated: Track Notes App for iPad.
The rapper turned reggae artist enlisted the services of publishing startup Citia for the app, which will provide a 360-degree supplement for the Reincarnated album, according to Complex.com
In addition to behind-the-scenes commentary and track notes, the app offers Snoop Lion merchandise including T-shirts, slippers and even Grindtainers for your "medicine."
According to U.K. news site The Guardian, the app also gives listeners three full audio tracks, each with their own lyric video, producer's commentary and information on the original track that inspired the song.
"What you get isn't just the music — it's about the music," notes the App Store listing. "Where it came from, how it was made, why it was made. It's liner notes for the 21st-century multimedia, multi-sensory, made for the fans."
Snoop Lion's Reincarnated: Track Notes App is free to download and offers a link for purchasing merchandise.
