Realm Reality to Perform at Music Matters Showcase
BET's monthly showcase, Music Matters, returns to NYC's famed SOB's Tuesday, April 9 with familiar face Realm Reality.
Also known as an actor for his work on Coach Carter, Roll Bounce and War of the Worlds, Realm has officially crossed over as a gigging rapper and first signee to Prodigy’s Infamous Records label.
"The fact to have a co-sign like P, to just really hear the music and just let people know that this is a stamp and that we're coming with some real raw... it's a blessing. It's amazing," Realm said earlier this year of signing with the Mobb Deep co-founder.
Come check out his Brooklyn-bred (Bushwick, to be exact) flow and be the judge for yourself. The showcase promises to gather the hottest upstart talent around and never disappoints (case in point: Elle Varner, Kendrick Lamar).
The rest of the night’s entertainment includes rapper Sneakerbox Chock, singer Will Davenport, rapper Jim-E-O, singer Alex Jacke and rapper Tabius Tate.
You don’t want to miss these impressive performances!
Hosting the showcase will be Buttahman and Vanessa Fraction along with DJ Lyve. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first performer will hit the stage at 8 p.m. You must be 21+ to attend the event.
