The BET Music Matters artist is opening European leg of the "Mrs. Carter Show."
BeyHive International, mount up. Beyoncé is officially giving the global stamp of approval to Music Matters artist Luke James, adding him as opener for the European leg of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. Bey, Luke and Bey's gold body suit with the diamond encrusted nipples will be criss-crossing the continent starting next Wednesday (April 24) in Paris.
"Luke James is a gifted singer and songwriter and what he does on stage with his pure falsetto is incredible," she said.
"It is such an unimaginable honor to be sharing the light yet again with Beyoncé on her sold out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour," he said.
Luke is co-managed by Beyoncé’s creative director, Frank Gatson Jr., and got his first public taste of her spotlight when she personally selected him to appear in her "Run the World (Girls)" video and as the opening act for her shows at Revel in Atlantic City last summer.
"I am excited to have him join the tour and to introduce this soulful singer to an audience in Europe that will be discovering a true star," she said.
"This is a blessing that I do not take lightly," he said. "Thank you, Beyoncé."
The dancing, writing, instrument-playing "I Want You" singer's debut album, Made to Love, is expected this year.
