Rihanna Nabs 10 Nods From Billboard

Singer up for Top Artist, Miguel slated to perform, Prince to be honored.

Billboard announced the finalists up for awards at their annual award ceremony. Rihanna is among the top three most popular with 10 nominations in categories, including Top Dance Song, Top R&B Album (along with Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean and Usher), Top Social Artist and Top Artist overall. Rihanna recently broke the chart's record for No. 1's when she edged out Katy Perry for a total of 10 chart-topping songs with "Stay" featuring Mikky Ekko.

Another successful pop crossover artist, Nicki Minaj is up for seven awards and Wiz Khalifa got a nod in the Top Hot 100 Song category with his feature on Maroon 5's "Payphone."

Up for Top Rap Artist are Drake, Flo Rida, Nicki, Pitbull and "Gangam Style" rapper Psy; while 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross are up for Top Rap Album. Flo Rida goes up against himself for Top Rap Song with his "Wild Ones" featuring Sia and his "Whistle." Also in the category is the "Mercy" collective, Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz.

Rapper LeCrae is up for Top Christian Album and CoverGirl/Bad Boy signee Janelle Monae's feature on fun.'s "We Are Young" has her up for Top Streaming Song (Video), Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Digital Song and Top Rock Song.

Performances at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards include one from Prince, who will be honored with the Billboard Icon Award, and Miguel, who is up for the new fan-driven Milestone Award being presented by Cee-Lo.

The star-studded event airs live Sunday, May 19 from the MGM Grand in Vegas. Comedian Tracy Morgan is tapped as host.
