Lazyzie Bone learned the hard way that traffic tickets can land you in jail. Authorities arrested the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper in a Calabasas, CA, hotel room early Tuesday (May 7), after a search of his name returned two outstanding warrants.
The Lost Hill Sheriff's department confirmed to E! News that police were called to the rapper's hotel room over complaints of loud music. A routine identifications check unveiled the double warrants brought on by two traffic violations, one of which was driving without a license.
He was handcuffed without incident and taken to the Lost Hill's Sheriff's office, only to be released on $80,000 bail hours later. Moments after being freed, TMZ caught up with the 38-year-old, who vowed to "take care" of the warrants, and used the opportunity to plug a forthcoming Bone Thugs-N-Harmony album, Thug Pound, a collaboration effort with Tha Dogg Pound — Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, Soopafly and even resurrecting the Doggfather, Snoop.
Even though the jail stint was short, Layzie knows a thing or two about arrests. All of the Cleveland native's group members have been in police custody at one point or another, including his brother Flesh-n-Bone, who's been popped on numerous occasions.
