Rihanna Clashes With Amanda Bynes on Twitter

Rih Rih fires back after the former child star unleashed ugly attack.

Jay-Z, Drake and Kid Cudi are just some of the stars that Amanda Bynes has called out on Twitter. Now, in her latest attack, the former Nickelodeon child star may have met her match. In a series of tweets that were unprovoked and later deleted, Bynes went at pop star Rihanna, calling the "Diamonds" singer "ugly" among other insulting names.
TMZ captured a screen grab of the tweets before they were removed on Sunday.
"No one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother," she tweeted. "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough."
Never one to back down from a Twitter fight, Rihanna shot back with an epic reply for the ages.
"Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?"
Of course Rih is referring to Bynes' strange behavior over the past few months. The latest incident saw the What a Girl Wants star arrested in New York for alleged marijuana possession.
Stung by Rihanna's tweet, Bynes fired back with more insults, while recalling a past meeting with Rih.
"Unlike your fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met your ugly face in person. U aren't pretty u know know!"
As with many celebrity Twitter rants, Bynes released a statement on Monday claiming the attack did not come from her.
"I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!"
No response was issued by Rihanna.
